Laurence Needlemeyer (also known as Larry, as Gumball and Nicole call him) is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He works at almost every store in the town of Elmore. Laurence is not easily fooled and despises The Wattersons, but the Wattersons don't like him, either. His first apperance was in the first episode The DVD, at the DVD store. He appeared in The End in a cameo, as the cashier in the supermarket. He also appeared in The Spoon as a cashier at the gas station. This was the first episode in which he had been robbed from in the show. He seems to be working at most of the stores right now. He is also a coward, as shown in The Spoon, when he knocked himself out while freaking out that he was being robbed by The Robber, then appeared in The Laziest.
Appearance
Laurence's appearance is hard to describe. He wears a greenish shirt and an orange tie. He also wears an orange/white hat. He looks like he is made out of paper or rock, but it is not known. His head looks like a odd-shaped box.
Personality
He appears somewhat irritated by people, but he is shown to be happy in one episode. He is scared very easily and may be dim-witted due to thinking a spoon was going to hurt him.
